Our Story
Owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Alex and Dawn Bass, Orchard Valley Homes was built on a foundation of faith, family, and a love for creating beautiful, lasting homes.
Alex and Dawn both graduated from Belton High School in 2000—high school sweethearts who went on to earn their bachelor’s degrees from Stephen F. Austin. Alex later received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma, but it was their shared passion for building and design that led to the creation of Orchard Valley Homes.
Together, they've been building and remodeling homes across Bell County, including Belton, Temple, Salado, Holland, and Little River/Academy.

Alex manages the construction process with a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to quality. From the first pour to the final walkthrough, he ensures every home is built to the highest standard—done right, every time.
